Number 11: Cats must sleep outside at all times
Linda and Tierney went to the book store tonight after dinner. Linda was reading a magazine about raising and training puppy dogs. Tier said I was a brat and had absolutely no manners at all. Linda stuck up for me and said I was a good puppy, just a little ruff around the edges. Chip, on the other hand... meows and screams in the morning to be fed. Today, Tier said Chip stood on her body while she tried to sleep-in. Chip was crying and butting her with her large cat head.
These are the 10 rules that I was raised with. Notice Number 10. This is true, I weigh 4 pounds but MUST lay in the middle of the queen size bed. Linda has to sleep on either side of me and she has to be careful not to wake me up if she changes positions. I do let her under the covers, but she has to put a pillow next to me so I don't suffocate. The ten rules all puppy owners should follow for the best results:
1. The puppy dog is not allowed in the house.
2. Okay, the puppy dog is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.
3. The puppy dog is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture.
4. The puppy dog can get on the old furniture only.
5. Fine, the puppy dog is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.
6. Okay, the puppy dog is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation.
7. The puppy dog can sleep on the bed whenever he wants, but not under the covers.
8. The puppy dog can sleep under the covers by invitation only
9. The puppy dog can sleep under the covers every night.
10. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the covers with the puppy dog.
