It is also very stressful on the hens to have to pass the large eggs. Breeding the hens to lay large eggs causes osteoporosis, bone breakage and prolapse. Better yet, become a vegan like Linda and you won't have to worry about chickens in small cages or suffering from laying jumbo eggs.
