Rest and Relaxation
So far Linda has really enjoyed her unscheduled time. For lunch she grilled a piece of salmon that was crusted with spicy seasonings and a bourbon glaze. It smelled wonderful. Chip got the leftover bits after Linda rinsed all the bourbon sauce off of them. I think Chip would be a mean drunk. Next she put on a bathing suit and sunned on the deck for an hour and listened to her work music. A cool shower was a must since she was sweating buckets when she got back inside. In a few minutes she is going to Target to pick up a few house things. Tomorrow, it's lunch with Taylor and Sarah (hopefully Gretel and Noah too!) Monday, a church picnic and then over to Emily's for a pool party. Life is good! (scratch that, Life is GREAT! We are so blessed!!)
UPDATE: Linda's back from the library and Target. She said she bought the perfect pair of white jeans (is that even possible? White jeans that fit, look good and cost under $20?) and checked out an armload of books from the library. After that she tackled her bedroom closet to reorganize and get rid of things she no longer wears. We are waiting until it cools off some before we hit the trail.
