Since everyone was up bright and early, Linda took us on an extended trail walk first thing this morning. OH, the weather was divine. Under the trees, the temperature was even cool! Yesterday's storms were really something. You could tell that parts of the walking trail and even beyond to the other side were completely covered with water. It looked like the stream had to have rose about 20 feet based on the amount of silt and leftover stream stuff. We had to take some detours because a few of the streams were still too high to cross. Linda found a trove of blackberries! She is going to check back in a few more days to see if they are ripe. Anyone want to go berry picking with us? Sarah??
