Bye-Bye Bees

We stayed home from family night even though the weather was incredible. Linda was only there from 7-8:30 because she had to get home in time for the bee-man to come. I'm not sure if I wrote about this or not, but there is a hive of bees in our roof right by the front door. They aren't the pretty fluffy kind of bees, they are the mad, swarming kind who dive bomb you. They came last year and Linda let them slide because they didn't sting her. This year, she was getting stung left and right so they had to go. Her fried Bob came over when it just started getting dark. He had a giant ladder and crept up while they were sleeping to deliver the death blow. Part two is tonight, same time. After dinner when we were settling in for the night, Taylor and Sarah came for a surprise visit! Taylor, Sarah, Tier and Linda are all planning a vacation in September so they explored different ideas on Expedia.com. If Jerry can't take me for 5 days and Chimmie can't go to Paul's, we will both be going to a place called "The Kennel." It sounds dreadful, but Linda said she hasn't been on a vacation in over 5 years and that we'll have to suck-it-up. We can pack a little suitcase with our favorite bed or blanket and a few toys. I hope they don't put Chimmie and I in the same kennel run, I'll be a basket case when Linda gets home!
