Saving $

Linda is trying to eat up all the food in the kitchen before she goes to the store to buy anything else. This has caused her to be very creative with what's in the pantry. There isn't any more bread, soy milk, cheese, cereal, frozen dinners, fruit, veggies, pasta/sauce, or yogurt. She has things like brown rice, one can of beans, tuna, cous-cous, soyaki sauce, thai peanut sauce, bulgur, frozen veggie burgers and a can of vegetarian chili. Tomorrow she is going to mix the cous-cous with the chili, crumble up a few veggie burgers in it and add some soyaki sauce. It will probably taste amazing. There are lots of cans of cat and 4 cans of dog food. We have a ton of dry dog food too. The last of the coffee will be used up tomorrow, so she is going to have to break her rule and go to the grocery store.
UPDATE: Linda said to tell you that she is by no means poor and could buy more food if she wanted to. Sometimes she gets ideas in her head like "I will clean the house every Friday from 8-10 a.m. no matter what" or "I think I'll see how much money I can save by eating only what is in my house!"
