Back on May 24th I wrote about a Bio-Tech company who was sponsoring a contest to clone your dog. I wanted to have a Snickers clone since he is old and can't walk very good anymore. They did not pick Snicks, but they did pick a rescue German Shepherd named Trackr. He was one of the first to arrive at ground zero after 9/11 and was heroic in his search and rescue attempt. He is now 15 years old his back legs are impaired because of a degenerative neurological disorder just like Snickers who is also around 15 and has the same issue. Although I love Snicks and wish it was him who was chosen, I'm very happy that such a heroic dog like Trackr was chosen. Sometimes you have to chose other people's (and pets) happiness over your own. In the long run, putting others first and being selfless is the path to true happiness. Just ask Linda.
