The Humane Society has filed a complaint against Smithfield Farms. This "farm" is where the pigs are raised which make up some of the McRib sandwich I've been blogging about. Some other parts of the sandwich that isn't pig is the glue that holds together the soles of your sneakers. There is some horrible, gruesome video going around the internet (which I definitely will not be watching) of how the pigs are kept and what happens to them. Jerry grew up in the same small town, Smithfield Virginia. I'm sure he had no idea what happened at the meat mill. If he did, there is no way he would have eaten bacon, pork or ham.
