My, What Big Antlers You Have!
Linda has a history of not decorating for the Christmas season. Oh, she loves Christmas. She loves that it celebrates Baby Jesus' birthday. She loves being with Tier, Taylor and Sarah on Christmas morning. She loves shopping for them and giving them presents. All kinds of Christmas cookies are welcome at our house. She always puts out Mary, Joseph and Jesus in the manger. What she does not love is all the crazy decorating. Putting up a tree... no thanks. Stringing lights outside? She would rather clean a strangers bathroom. Tinsel...balls...extension cords.... no, no and no. It became a tradition when the kids were little to do a little something different. One year it was a Christmas cactus. Once she put a set of white twinkle lights on her 7' palm tree. Her favorite was when she made a pyramid of all her Starbucks Christmas bears. Another time she cut a branch from the outside pine tree and stuck in in a vase. It seems like she might have rubbed off a little on Tierney. Tier told her that she was done with trees and decorating. Instead, welcome Mr. Moose. Tier bought him from an art gallery today. This Christmas, Mr. Moose will be holding white twinkle lights in the antlers. Actually, with her new Tuxedo black walls, black twinkle lights would look best. When Chimmie goes to her house next time, he'll have a heart attack when she sees this on her wall.
