I'm Very Thankful

This looks pretty tasty!
Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away.  It's usually a very quite day for us (which is good!) Tier and Taylor spend Thanksgiving with their Dad and Erica.  Erica is a great cook and makes all kinds of wonderful dishes. If Linda made dinner, it would be this inflatable turkey. One year she went to Sarah and Taylor's TH and another time she went to Sarah's parents, but that was it.  There was a tradition when Snickers was alive to go to Great Falls Park and hike for most of the day on Thanksgiving. No matter how cold it was, Linda would take him in the car and drive to the park.  As soon as he started seeing the woods, he would howl and do his happy wiggle.  The trails were empty on Thanksgiving morning and early afternoon, so she would let him off the leash.  He was such an amazing dog and so obedient.  He could chase a deer for 15 minutes and less than a minute after she called his name, he would come crashing back through the trees to her side.  We've never been to Great Falls.  It would probably scare Chimmie and I couldn't do the steep Upland Trail that she likes to take.  Who knows?  Maybe this year will be the start of our own Thanksgiving hiking tradition. I'm just so thankful to be with Linda and have such a warm, cozy and safe home.  My bowl is never empty and I'm so loved!
