If I do get my pedometer (see post below) and ever decide to do a race, it's going to be the Krispy Kreme Challenge . Yesterday, about 7,500 people ran this years race. Here is the challenge: run two miles, eat a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, then run back to the start. Only a total of 4 miles, but the last two are with a tummy full of doughnuts. I know Linda does not care that much for any kind of doughnuts, but KK's are Jerry's absolute favorite. Maybe he'll take me to the race next year. I should start training (and eating doughnuts) today so I'm ready! The race is done to raise money for the Children's Hospital. This year they took in $55,000 total. (Each runner took in 2,400 calories too!)
