Food for thought

All the local counties have canceled school for tomorrow.  Usually gym classes are cancelled in the morning when school is out.  Probably not in this case.  It's just cold (just!), there isn't snow or ice.  It will be interesting to see how many people come to the Aqua class Linda teaches.  She is going to have to totally dry her hair before she drives home or it will freeze into icicles!

Linda was thinking about totally giving up on pizza.  She doesn't have the kind of food budget where she can waste money on meals she doesn't like.  Since she is 1/2 Italian, that just couldn't happen. She couldn't let the pizza debacle scare her off from homemade pizza.  She made another one tonight but left the crust up to the experts.  Success!  It came out perfect!  She topped the thin, whole wheat crust with basil, pesto, feta, tomatoes and mozzarella.

Because she was starving at dinner (Linda is hardly ever starving since she spreads out her calories evenly throughout the day) she ate 1/2 the pizza and then had a yogurt parfait for dessert.
9 out of 10 people would like this.  (There is always that person who hates yogurt)
Chimi was like "Is any of that for me?   Somehow the chocolate chips spilled out of the cupboard right into her bowl.

Running update:  Linda's glutes; quads and hamstrings were so sore this morning from the sprints she did yesterday!  She did a lot of stretching today, but also taught a Combat, Pump, two TKD's, ran a fast mile on the treadmill and practiced the new Pump release twice through with light weights.   No wonder she was starving for a big dinner!
