The snow was taller than Linda's car during this storm. It took her forever to shovel the driveway and sidewalks.
Let's just hope we don't get this kind of snow again this winter! Her little Kia Soul doesn't do good in snow and ice like the Subaru all-wheel drive (with heated seats!) car she used to have.
We are BFF's even when we are arguing over a cookie. |
Doesn't this look like an old ladies hair? It is my crazy fur. She really needs to take me to get a haircut. I'll probably lose two pounds!
Linda is making homemade pumpkin chocolate chip bread for her church dinner tomorrow night. The recipe made so much batter she actually made an extra little loaf. Just to be sure it tasted OK, she tried a piece when it came out of the oven a few minutes ago. OH yeah... it taste really OK.
This was her lunch today:
Farro with mushrooms and feta served with roasted veggies. Back in the day, lunch was a Subway sandwich or take out pizza. Now she eats such amazing healthy food that she cooks herself. Dinner was Parmesan coated tilapia and more veggies. If she is going to continue to cook, she needs to get some more baking pans, pots and kitchen tools. Maybe she can buy one kitchen thing a week. First up, loaf pans so she doesn't have to use disposable ones. In more exciting news....
Congratulations Rubber Ducky for making it into the Toy Hall of Fame!
