Unnecessary Roughness
The other evening walking on the trail we say a giant deer off in the undergrowth. It was at least as tall as Linda. It stood perfectly still and did not make any attempt to walk towards us. Good thing, because all these stories about deers attacking people are making us nervous. Just the other day a 7-year old was attacked by a large male deer while he was playing football in his yard. (The boy was playing football, not the deer.) Two bucks were in the area looking for a girl deer. The boy ran into the woods to find an overthrown ball. All of a sudden the deer came crashing through the forest tackling the kid. He dug his horns into the boy, flipping him over. A 9-year old was also playing football and saved his friends life by hitting the deer with a big stick. Flag on the play, First down!!
