Whoa! It's a good thing that this law was not put into effect when Tierney and Taylor was born. Linda said they were HUGE babies. Both kids were in the 99th percentile in height and weight at birth, then off the charts as the months passed. Now, some insurance companies are denying coverage to any infant at or above the 95th percentile in height/and or weight, even if they are super healthy. The insurers are calling their size a "pre-existing" condition. One family had their 4-month olds coverage denied because he is in the 95th percentile. The wee baby is just drinking breast milk. It's kind of hard to put the little tyke on a diet, and why should they! Whose lame-brained idea is this? This is Tierney at 10 months. Isn't she too cute?
