There is a candy Linda used to love when she was little. Milk Duds were always her favorite movie candy because they took so long to chew. It's been a lot of years since she even tasted a Milk Dud, but my story has her yearning for one. An 87-year old Idaho lady was tucked into her bed watching "Dancing With the Stars." She was getting ready to enjoy a box of Mild Duds while she watched Donny Osmond pretend he could dance. As she was chowing down on the chocolate and caramel Duds, she came across a particularly crunchy one. The old women kept chewing and chewing but it would not soften up. She finally spit it out after giving up. Apparently she shifted in bed and her hearing aid fell out right into her Milk Dud box! She got a dud in her Milk Duds. At least she did not try to stick a Milk Dud into her ear by mistake like this dumb cat.
