Between Snicks, Chip and the Choopster, we shed an awful lot of hair. Linda has the special pet vacuum that grabs the hair from deep in the nap of the carpet. When she is done, there is this canister that you pull out and empty. The first time she used it, there was at least a basketball size clump of hair. Every week it gets a little less, but there is still a good amount. If only she would have read this article a little sooner. Beth and Brian had 2 dogs that were like their kids. When the dogs, Kara and Penny died, they left behind a little of themselves deep in the carpet. (No, it's not the misses from the pee-pee pad.) There was so much hair that Beth combed it out of the carpet. She spun it into yarn and knitted them both sweaters. Brian says they are very warm and waterproof. I just hope that the dogs personality does not take over and make the couple run out into the street after cars or sniff each others butts.
