Like a Basket of Drinkable Kittens

It feels like winter again tonight, but it's going back to the 60's this weekend.  Our walk was cold tonight, but Linda has good news to report.  She didn't have to wrangle Chim to the ground and  hogtie him to get his coat on.  Usually it takes 10 minutes to catch him, hold him down and get his coat zipped up.  Tonight, he did exactly what I do.  Linda puts my coat on the carpet and says "foot"-foot" and I pick up my paws to step right into the coat.  Unbelievably, Chim did the same thing before our walk!  He stepped right into it and stood still while Linda did the zipper.  If you knew Chimi, you would know this is so out of character for him.  Hopefully, it sticks and becomes a habit.
This photo is the first time he wore the coat.  He was petrified of it and thought it was going to kill him dead.

Earlier, Linda stopped to take care of Inky cat.  She is so soft and beautiful, but not very smart.  Chip was cute.. and she was the alpha of the pack.  Sometimes Linda misses having a cat and thinks it might be a good idea to get another.

Then she remembers how much work it was keeping the litter box clean and all the furniture free of hair.  No thanks.  She can always hug her friends kitties.

Can you imagine if Linda ever tried to get this cat muzzle on Chip?  I love how it says "reduces the risk of cat bites."  Chip would have bitten Linda 100 times before she got it strapped on.  Look at the second benefit "creates a calming effect."  Yeah... right.
