Guess who came to visit today? None other than sweet lil' Penelope. When Linda first carried her in, she cried when she heard us barking. We were just saying Hi! but she was sleepy and it upset her. Linda put us on the deck while she fed Penny her bottle and put her down for a nap. After she woke up, she wasn't afraid of me at all anymore. Chim stayed on the deck or in his bed, and I played cups and lids with her (Linda empties the Tupperware cabinet onto the floor.) I used to play it with Noah every Thursday, so I know not to get too close when the plastic cups are being banged on the floor. It was too cold for a walk, so they just hung out around the house until it was time for Linda to meet Sarah and Taylor for dinner.
This morning Linda's bank was robbed! It's a bank that she just uses for automatic paycheck deposits, so she rarely goes into the branch. Linda was in the same shopping center picking up her eyeglasses at
exactly the time the bank was robbed. She saw a bunch of cop cars, but
she had no idea that's what they were there for. The bad guy got away with the money but thankfully no one was hurt. He was wearing a mask, so there isn't any video footage of his face. There is a big reward for information leading to his arrest, so hopefully someone will turn him in.
