A Slow News Day

Chim lost his collar.  It doesn't seem to be anywhere in the house.  Linda needs to walk the backyard and search for it.  She needed to replace it anyway, but she was going to use the same tags.  His neck is way thicker than a normal Chihuahua. (For that matter, he is also three times the size!)   I've never worn a collar in my life since the Vet told Linda I have a prolapsed trachea. That means I wheeze and cough anytime I get excited or overworked.  When I take a walk, I use a harness or a coat with "D" rings on the back.  Chim better not get lost between now and when she buys his new one.

Linda will be visiting Ink Cat through at least Monday.  She wants to bring her to our house, but Chim would scare her (or the other way around.)  She feels so bad leaving her alone in the TH.  I guess cats don't really care about being alone.   Ink is just manipulative and cries in the most pitiful way to make Linda feel guilty.  I bet she just sleeps the day away between eating little bites of her dry food.

The last of the Christmas presents arrived in the mail today.  Linda just has to get a few little things for Penelope to open.  This will be the first year she won't be doing Christmas stockings. (Sorry Tier!)  Usually, she buys a bunch of stuff that the Tier, Taylor and Sarah don't need (like a deck of cards) or stuff they don't want (shaving cream.)  She does need to find the Batman bubble bath that she has given Taylor every year since he's been 11.  It's actually the same bottle from when he was little.  He never used it and she just re-wraps it every single Christmas. Maybe the tradition will pass down to Penny.  Linda will get her a bottle of Princess bubble bath and start this year!

Since no pictures go with this post, this one is for Aunt Tierney!
We know Penelope will definitely get her awesome fashion sense from Aunt Tier.  On Thursday Penny wore leopard leggings and a fur vest!  Check back later for a video of Penny's mad basketball skills.  She already has her Daddy's ball handling talent. (Of course Linda's iPhone flipped the video sideways.  She has to figure out how to rotate it again.)
