On the way to teach class today, Linda saw a real "Bad boys, bad boys.. whatcha gonna do" situation. There were at least 10 cop cars on either side of a small street. Some officers were hiding behind cars with their hands on their weapons. Another had a long sniper rifle (she really has no clue what kind of rifle it was, but it didn't look anything like the hunting rifles she has seen) slung across their chest. They were still letting cars pass, but as she drove past down the street more and more cop cars were racing to the scene. This is a street she has driven down 1,000's of times and never saw a hint of trouble. Hopefully, no one got shot and they caught the bad guy. Maybe it will be on Twitter tonight. Linda follows the local sheriffs office for hourly updates.
In other exciting news, Jerry is back after 10 days away. He was only home a few minutes before he raced over to my house to see me (and Chim too, but he would rather just see me.) Tuesday is his visit evening. Linda wasn't sure if he was going to come or not while she was teaching, but he made back in time. I can't remember the last time he was able to walk us. He sent Linda a text telling her that Chim was afraid of some of the Christmas lights. What a dopey dog.
Tomorrow is Taylor's 24th birthday. Look at how little he was!
