This morning was the first day in months Linda didn't have to set the alarm. Her Thursday morning class is canceled until January, so she didn't have to be at the gym at 9:00 a.m. Yay! Sleeping in with her two favorite dogs cuddled in the warm bed, right? Wrong. No one slept in and it was freezing when we woke her up. The heat had been turned off and she totally forgot that the LR windows were wide open behind the closed blinds. She should know by now people with dogs and babies don't get to set their own sleep schedules. Babies have to be fed and changed; dogs have to go outside when they wake up, especially little dogs with tiny bladders. Instead, she just got out of bed the regular time and started her morning routine. Since there was so much time before she leaves to see Penny, she cleaned the house while we went back to bed.

Linda is meeting her two friends for their annual Christmas coffee today. One year they did ugly sweaters and socks, but this year they will just be wearing their normal clothes (which means Linda is actually dressing up since she won't be wearing her usual sweaty workout outfit.)
