Linda took her first Yoga class last night. You do all these twisty, turny, bendy, stretchy moves called all kind of animal names. Cat, Cow, Dog, Cobra and Dolphin were some of the poses she did. If you were not careful in your choice of clothing, you might be showing your bits. There were 2 guys in the class and the rest were women. Both guys were wearing shorts, but they were on the longish side. Wearing short-shorts to any group exercise class is just is wrong, especially if they are made of lycra. It makes other people in the class very uncomfortable. A male yoga instructor at another gym has been warned his shorts are too short. He said he will risk getting fired before he changes his workout attire. Women have complained that they don't want to see his bits, but he keeps wearing the offending shorts anyway. Um..... sounds to me like he is an exhibitionist and enjoys the attention. Linda says... YUCK. When she is teaching and a male wears offending looking short-shorts, she looks everywhere possible but at that person. It is just nasty. On the plus side, we are now practicing downward facing dog and the cobra together. Doga is the bomb.
