Are you going to finish that?

Linda is starting her own blog. It won't be as wonderful as mine, but maybe some of my readers will give her a chance. She has been consciously trying to eat better and more nutritious foods. For the past 32 years she has been a vegetarian and the last 3 a gluten free (no wheat) vegan. Since becoming a vegan, her diet has been terrible. I know that sounds contradictory, but it is so true. Ask Taylor or Sarah what she would order every time they ate out? Depending on where they went, she would get french fries for dinner (if not fried in beef fat.) It is super hard to be vegan and gluten free and eat enough calories and protein when eating out. Sure, you can get a lettuce salad, hold the cheese, egg, croutons, bacon, creamy dressing. Most veggie burgers eaten out have gluten, pasta is off the menu, a lot of Mexican places use chicken broth in their rice and lard in their beans. Even getting veggies grilled, steamed NO BUTTER is not always possible. She is attempting to add small amounts of wheat and dairy back in her diet. Every single piece of food she puts in her mouth she is documenting with her cell phone camera. Wow! She eats a lot of useless calories that have absolutely no nutritional value. It's really helping her see that she needs to clean up her diet. She'll be posting all the food photos, journaling how she feels, documenting her workouts and progress. The blog might be a complete dude, but if it helps her... then I'm all for it. Watch for the link.
