They're not Called Smart Cats For a Reason

I love science studies, especially when they come to logical conclusions. A professor at the University of British Columbia found that even the most average dog has the mental abilities of a 2 year old. Mutts can learn between 165-250 words including sign language. We are even smarter in math then 3 or 4-year old toddlers. Some dogs can add simple numbers and count to 5. My breeds did not make the top 10 list of smartest dogs, but the study is flawed since they never came to my house to test me. Other studies show that we have spatial problem-solving skills and can learn to operate simple machine and latches. Dogs also show basic human emotions like being happy, angry or disgusted. One myth is that we don't show or feel guilt. What you see when we are hanging our head after we pee-pee on the floor is doggy fear.
