Stooopid Crooks: part 1,394,402

My two earlier posts about smart dogs and a smart cat really contrast to these two dumb crooks. Back in 1980, Pennsylvania cops knew their suspect was guilty. The perp said he was innocent. They made the man sit next to a copier machine with a fake wire running into the paper tray. They then asked him questions about the crime. When they were done, they showed him a piece of paper that came out of the tray. It said "He's Lying." The man totally confessed. Cops in Tel Aviv must have heard about the story and decided to see if it worked. They hooked the suspect up to a electrocardiogram machine and asked him questions about the night of the crime. He said he had no memory of the crime taking place. They told him that the squiggles on the paper proved that he remembered every detail and that he was hiding facts. The suspect then confessed to the murder of his neighbor.
