BYOSB

Linda finally found a vacation deal she can afford. A wonderful resort in San Diego is offering a special called the Survivor Package. The beautiful hotel has 3 pools, 2 restaurants, a spa and even a golf course. The regular price is over $200 a night. Since everyone knows the economy is affecting peoples vacation plans, the resort decided to offer special deals. For every amenity you give up the price goes down. Don't eat the breakfast buffet: pay $199. All the way down to if you lose the in-room bar, air conditioning or heat, pillows, sheets, lights, towels, toilet paper and the bed: pay only $19. You do get a little tent set up on the floor in the room. You have to bring your own sleeping bag and other toiletries. The dumbest thing about this special is that it takes hotel staff 90 minutes to disassemble the room. They have to take the mattress out, unscrew the headboard from the wall, take the fuse out of the air conditioner, remove the light bulbs, furniture, etc. Oh, you do get one light bulb left in the bathroom. It's like camping without the bugs or s'mores. Linda loves this sleeping bag. It's on her Christmas wish list.
