Linda used to think that Tierney was the happiest baby in the world. It's probably not true, but Linda only remembers her throwing one fit in her whole childhood and that's the day Taylor came home from the hospital. She saw Linda carry him through the front door and started screeching at the top of her lungs "Take him back, Take him back!!" Then she ran into her room and began banging her forehead against the floor (hard enough to leave a bump!) That was when she wasn't quite 2 years old, but other than that she was always smiling, laughing and had zero separation anxiety. Now that Linda has gotten to know Penelope, she is matching Tierney's personality. Since Linda doesn't know much about when Sarah was a baby, she only has Tierney and Taylor to compare Penny to. (Let's just say Taylor was the complete opposite of Tierney....but he turned out just wonderful!)
Look at Penny's face during their Shenandoah hiking trip today. She is all grins and giggles riding along on Taylor's back. I'm sure Taylor got a great workout hiking with her. Penny is one solid baby!
Um Sarah... I hope that isn't a bear cave your peaking into!! Linda wants to know if you bought along the can of spray mace she gave you.
