Friday Round Up

Linda was able to teach her Body Pump class today with light weights and only minimal pain.  The pain started up when she got home, but she ignored it and told it to go away.  She's trying not to take a pain pill, but she might be weakening since the pain does seem to be building up and it might be difficult for her to sleep tonight.

The wind was so strong today that it kept slamming doors in our house.  One time it made Chim so scared that he refused to move.  He just melted in the hallway and Linda had to peel him off the floor like a soggy pancake.  She carried him to the couch in the den and put him under the covers. After about 20 minutes, he stopped shaking and fell asleep.  During his sleep, he was jumping and twitching.  He must have been dreaming of the slamming door!  Poor guy.

Tomorrow is Cowboy Day at church.  Most of the Church Dog-Pack goes to the outside events, and even some of them dress up!
This is Beast or Spike, I can't tell them apart.
Linda said Chim and I have to stay home this time. She is only going to stay for a little while.  Plus, there are all sorts of games and contests that might make Chim scared.  There is a salsa making contest (yum! says Linda) and a cake walk (the cakes don't walk, the people walk around the chairs and when the music stops, if the chair in front of you has a cake, you win it.)  She thinks there will also be a round-up where cowboys and cowgirls lasso steer (probably guys dressed up like steer.)
