Feeling Loved

It's so hard for Linda to except help from others.  She is a wee bit independent from having to survive on her own, so when she is sick or hurt and friends-family want to take care of her, she always feels like its such an imposition on them.  Her first response is "No, I'm fine" and that is what she did this time.... Except someone told her to stop it right now.  Not letting others help is cheating them.. especially when they love you and want to help.  So for the first time ever, Linda is not only willingly excepting help from people who love her, she actually asked!  So far she has been well fed with a beautiful salad, stir fried tofu, delicious Talapia and veggie soup from Wegmans, a Subway veggie burger, a home made apple pie and even some oatmeal raisin cookies!  Today, a brother from Church took her car to be inspected and detailed.  It looks as clean as the day she purchased it! Tomorrow, another brother is coming to cut her lawn.  A sister from church is bringing her a veggie-Mexican dish for dinner on Thursday.  Of course PW has offered to do a few extra dog walks this week.
Sarah has been diligent in sending her lots of Penelope photos too.  Every time Linda hears a text message beep, she grabs her phone.  Usually she has the text alert ringer turned off, but not now.  She wants to see the photos the second they arrive on her phone.
"Good Morning Nana.  I hope your feeling better"
"Mommy just told me we are coming to your house for lunch tomorrow!"

"All the fresh air made me fall asleep during the nature walk Mommy took me on."
