Linda almost stayed home from church tonight because she was "tired". She knew that wasn't a valid reason and she heaved herself up off the chair and went. She is glad she did. The teaching was spot on, exactly what she needed to here. Plus, it was funny and she laughed out loud at least 4 times. After, she ran upstairs to hug Taylor and Sarah who were teaching in the 5 year old children's church classroom. She had to wait an extra few minutes while all 10 kids hugged her too. That might have just saved her life. On the way home she came upon a total road closure on our street. There was a terrible accident involving 2 cars. One was almost cut in half. People were laying on the road. There wasn't even an ambulances there yet, just a cop car who had blocked the street with his cruiser. If Linda was 3 minutes earlier, she might have been part of the accident. It took her a few wrong turns to figure out how to get home, but eventually she took the long way and made it safe. She is so thankful for those extra hugs!
