There was a very unhappy baby in the nursery tonight that had this high-pitched scream that honestly sounded straight from a horror movie. It even gave Linda a cranky headache which never happens. When she finally got home, Chim and I were starving. When I'm hungry, my yips are very similar to the screaming baby, except I do about 100 per minute. That gets Chimmie riled up and he starts doing his wolf-howl and becoming more impatient. If you know Chip Cat, her cries for food are even more annoying than ours. The three of us together made quite the racket. There wasn't any chicken ready, so Linda had to microwave another piece and that took 5 minutes. While it was cooking, she put a piece of bread under the broiler to toast for her dinner... and forgot about it with all the crazy barking. She smelled the burning bread just about the time the microwave made the "ding". That made us more excited since we know the "ding" equals chicken is ready. Her cranky headache started getting worse. Both Chim and I ate our food in 30 seconds. It's not like we both didn't our normal breakfast. I guess the 45 minute walk and all the bone chewing we did today stimulated our appetites.
