Monkey Antics

Today will be day 4 of painting.  John took the weekend off to try and get new business.  Linda got the pictures/drapes hung in the LR/DR and now has to start painting the Ruby Woo bathroom.  The paint is red, the exact color of Tier's favorite lipstick and Blog title.  Linda was a little shocked when the sample went up on the wall, but she is going to keep the color since it was almost $60 per gallon and she thinks it will make her happy once everything is finished.  The best thing about living alone is that she can decorate exactly how she wants.  Most (OK probably all) men would not want a lipstick red bathroom.  The same stats go for monkeys in the hall bath.  Yes, monkeys.  Here is a little sneak peak, but you can't see the whole bathroom til the big reveal. 

A daily reminder to do no evil!

Remember the other day when Chip Cat went missing?  Last night it was Chim's turn.  Linda was getting ready for bed and wanted to let us outside one more time.  (It's been weeks since either one of us have gotten her up in the middle of the night!) She couldn't find him anywhere.  Not even the "cookie" call would entice him.  She knew he was in the house somewhere and set to searching.  (This was while she still had the cranky headache, so her patience was wearing thin.)  She decided if she got into bed, he would come running to jump up on The Big Bed to sleep with her.  When she turned down the covers, guess who she found hiding under the pillows?
