Linda was super happy that we got a new vacuum today. The guys installing our carpet kind of wrecked our Eureka! by running and running it without emptying the container. Plus, a million new carpet strings got wrapped around the roller brush and stopped it from turning. When she went in to see Ali Baba to pay the balance, she told him about the problem. He took $100 off the bill so she could buy a new one. He also is going to give her a $500 area rug that matches her furniture for $150! First she wants to bring some of the couch pillows in to be sure it will look OK. All the guys are over right now finishing up the last minute details. They are hanging towel racks, shoe molding (it's not what you think, it's little round wood that goes along the floor) and blinds. John also had to retouch all the walls and trim that the guy banged up when they were moving the furniture. Linda is hoping to have the kids over on Sunday to show them how wonderful everything looks!
