| This is usually just a trickle. |
It has been raining so hard that our french drain (an underground pipe in the backyard that collects water and spews it out into the street) is raging whitewater!! Linda feels like getting the giant umbrella and going outside to take a photo of it. Yesterday during our walk, the stream crossing that never gets covered was pretty high. I bet now it is totally flooded along with our trail. The news said there was up to 10" of rain in the last few hours. Some schools even closed and lots of things are being canceled from the flooding. Chim has to use the pee-pee pad because it is actually to crazy for him to even go outside. We saw these deer chilling in the field yesterday. I hope they are all right and their den is not totally underwater. Linda has to leave in a little while to go teach her Water in Motion class. She doubts anyone will venture out to take the class in this weather, but she still has to go.
