Flip-Flops, Armpits and the Weather

It went right from summer to winter!  Yesterday morning, Linda got a little sweaty while she was cleaning the house and doing her errands.  In the afternoon, our second walk with Noah was a bit chilly.  After her Aqua class in the evening, it was FREEZING!  She always drives home wet because she does not want to shower and change at the gym.  Dumb Idea.  It took her most of the night to get warm again.  Besides 3 homemade quilts, Linda put Noah's big fluffy down comforter on the Big Bed.  Chimmie was doing the Chihuahua shiver when he went outside early this morning to do his business.  He basically keeps the same coat all year.  I'm already getting a little more furry, so it wasn't nearly as cold to me.  Linda is going to keep wearing her flip-flops as long as possible, maybe until the first snow.   A friend of Tierney's...who will remain anonymous

(but his name starts with N and ends with K) wears them all year round.  Linda's Pastor said something about flip-flops not being appropriate footwear for church.  There are plenty of pretty dresses she wears that look great with flip-flops (not the rubber kind, but the $30 J. Crew kind.)   He also had other fashion advice she totally agrees with regarding tank tops for boys.  There is a man who wears tank top tee-shirts with his armpit hair hanging out.  If he raises his hands during Praise and Worship, well... it kind of wigs her out.  If Pastor is right about the armpit hair, maybe he's right about the flip-flops too.  (I guess you could also say she shouldn't even be aware of that happening, so it's her bad.)
