And They Called it Puppy Love

Chimi's giant twin Snickers.  He was a kissing dog too!
Chimi got to sleep half the night in the Big Bed, totally by accident.  Lately, he's been going to his own bed (in the master bathroom) all by himself without any prompting.  Last night he went in while Linda was taking a shower so she wasn't thinking about it until 1:00 a.m. this morning when he realized the door wasn't shut and jumped up into bed with her.  He was perfect and kept totally still until 6 a.m. when it was time to get up.  Then all bets were off.  He was trying to lick her face and give her thank-you kisses with such zeal that she had to push him off the bed so she could actually sit up.  Not a bad way to wake up though, pure-unconditional puppy love!  He is the sweetest dog and oh so (maybe too much sometimes) affectionate.

The little white dog who makes Chimi crazy with (?) seems to be gone.  We haven't seen her in the backyard for a few weeks.  Yesterday during the freezing "just a quick 10-minute walk but turned into a 60-minute" walk they saw a big moving truck in front of the house.  As much as Chimi enjoyed sprinting the fence and trying to actually jump over the 6' high slats to get to the dog, Linda won't miss the pup being gone one bit.  Chimi would be sound asleep on the couch and be able to tell the dog was outside without it even barking.  That would send him into a tail-spin and he would almost go through the sliding glass door just to get outside in the backyard.
