We Were Mitted! (updated)

Linda broke out the FURemover Mitt last night and decided to start the official test of "is this thing as amazing as the original FURemover."   I'll let the photo speak for itself:
This is after a 2-3 minute session of her petting Chip Cat.  To say that Chip loved it would be an understatement.  She was curiously cautious of The Mitt when Linda approached her with it, but after the first stroke it was pure Nirvana!  She started with a purr and it turned into this growl combined with a meow that was not a sound she has ever made in her 12 years of life.  She sounded wild, like a lioness.  Her tail was twitching so hard that it was thumping on the couch. Initially Linda thought Chip hated it based on the unusual reaction.  But when Linda stopped, Chip sat up and head butted The Mitt for more.  She is the kind of cat that will growl, hiss and swipe you with her claws if she is the least bit unhappy.  Maybe only 3-4 people have ever actually picked her up.  Linda is going to do it every night before bed and is hoping eventually Chip goes totally bald so she'll stop shedding on everything.
This would be perfect!
She tried it on me and I liked it. Only a little fur came off my body, but I just was groomed not too long ago.   It felt amazing and I almost fell asleep as she was Mitting me.  Next, she tried it on Chim.  Guess his reaction?  He screamed bloody murder and whined like the tiny plastic nubs were sharp nails.  Linda told him to "STOP IT" in her Cesar voice and then tried it again.  After about a minute of her making him submit, he got a glazed look in his eye and actually almost fell asleep sitting up... leaning totally against her body while she stroked him.  Not much hair came off him either, but he has super short fur.

The FURemover Mitt does its job beautifully on Chip Cat.  Chim and I will be using it as SPA time.  Linda is going to try it out on the rug and furniture next to see how it works.

UPDATE:  Since Linda was vacuuming and doing the floors, she decided to try The Mitt on the couch.  Remember she de-furred Chip last night before bed.  This is what came up after 8 hours of her sleeping:
It was 1/2 the amount that usually comes off her during the night so The Mitt worked great on her body fur.  (HOW in the world does one cat shed so much.  It's not like she rolls around either.  There are clumps of fur on the hardwood too.  Linda's next review will be Swiffer... unless FURemover makes a hardwood tool??)

Since she isn't being paid to review FURemover, she is going to be honest.  The Mitt is a deeper cleaner than the regular FURemover.  The Mitt got up lots of white cat dander flecks that she did not even know were there.  It took three times as long though because The Mitt creates a ton of static electricity and it makes the fur fly around a bit.  That was annoying, but since it actually got up stuff she could not see, it was worth it.  The Mitt will be a once a week couch tool.  There is one more to try, the one with the straight edge.  Note to EVRIHOLDER:  All the products you sent me have the exact same name, so I need to make up Code Names to distinguish them.  Also, the pictures on the packaging of how it works do not do the product justice.
