Rise and Shine

I'm not too happy with Linda's new morning wake-up time.  I loved it when she got up when I needed to get up to go outside.  Now, she is pulling both of us out of our comfy beds way too early.  She's even getting out of bed before Chip starts howling at the bedroom door for her breakfast.  She's not sure why she is wide-awake at 5:30 a.m. every morning, but she has gotten used to it now and it is helping her sleep better during the night (combined with cutting way back on caffeine.)  

After her classes this morning she is going to spend a few hours cleaning the house.  If you know Linda, you know she has a cleaning routine that she hardly ever deviates from.  The last few weeks, clean clothes in the spare bedroom have piled up; laundry needs to be folded, bathrooms need to be really scrubbed (and not just the daily Clorox pop-up sheet wipe down,) sheets changed, super-duper Swiffer job under all the furniture and you can actually see the dust on the bedroom furniture.  Whenever she goes on vacation (which is hardly ever) she has to have the house spotless before she leaves.  Coming home to a house that isn't sparkling is the worse.  There will be 7 days of cat hair to get off the green sofa though!
