Paul came over today while Linda was at church and working. She was gone for 7 hours, so Paul was nice enough to come and feed us lunch and take us outside for a break. I'm not sure he'll keep coming over as long as Chimmie keeps acting out. He kept kissing Paul on the face and ear over and over. He does love him since he was with Linda when she bought Chim home the first day, but he could be a little less annoyingly affectionate. Plus, he peed on the kitchen floor and almost did a number 2 on the carpet. Paul was quick enough to catch him and give Chim a big time out. I did not mind that much because then I got all the rubs and hugs without Chim pestering us. Linda decided to be a little more assertive in his training. Now, he's getting a little whack with an index card when he disobeys. He screams like you are beating him with a belt, but it's just a little card tap. It's for his own good. No one likes a crazy dog.
