Missing Dog

My worst nightmare.... getting lost or dog-napped. Linda does not leave me in the car, tied out front or even in the backyard alone. There are times at the dog park where she might have lost sight of me for a few seconds, but not anymore. A family in Brooklyn lost their 3-year old bulldog/basset hound during the recent snow. The dog was at a park playing with his 10 and 7 year-old humans, when he bolted and got away from the kids, leash dragging behind him. The boys and mom chased after the dog as far as they could, but eventually had to turn back and get a ride home from a policeman. They put up missing signs around the neighborhood and a little while later, a man called demanding a ransom for returning the dog safely. The mom offered $50, but the man said "good luck finding your dog" and hung-up. The family is waiting and praying for him to call back.
