Angel of Death

Rhode Island is home to a very special cat named Oscar. The pussy cat has lived in a nursing home for the past five years. He was adopted as a baby kitten by the residents, but has never really warmed up to the nursing home folks. The only time he will jump on a bed and cuddle with a resident is when they are about to die. Oscar has predicted 50 deaths, often surprising nurses who had no idea someone was about to pass on. Doctors will put the cat with someone who they think is dying, but the cat will jump off the bed and go scratch on a different door. Sure enough, the person passes on. Nursers are so sure of Oscar's predictions that they will alert family members when the cat cuddles up with a resident. This isn't Oscar, but this calico cat actually has it's own angel wings. Both cats are kind of freaky.
