The school PS 53 in N.Y. is serious about their no guns at school policy. A 9-year old boy was playing with his Lego sailor guy in the lunch room when a teacher noticed the gun. The boy was taken to the Principal's office and the gun was confiscated. His parents were called in and questioned about allowing the boy to bring the gun to school. Um..... I think the crust of a grilled cheese sandwich is more dangerous then this tiny plastic gun. The boy was not suspended, but the article did not say if the Principal actually gave him is toy back.
