Where was the Flying Squirrel?

A poor moose (let's call him Bull Winkle) fell though the ice and was horribly trapped. Someone saw Mr. Winkle struggling in the freezing water and ran to get some help. It took a crew of rescuers with a rope and a plank of wood to act as a lever to free Bull Winkle from the ice. Six hours later, he was carted to shore where he was covered with electric blankets powered by 250 feet of extension cords. People also bought extra blankets, hay and a propane heater to warm him. A few hours later, Bull got up and ambled off into the woods to the cheers of his rescuers. I love stories with happy endings.
