Please be alerted to a problem with Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick drops. Dogs have been having bad reactions to the drops. One women in Springfield, Oregon has 3 dogs who all had bad reactions to the product, including a chihuahua who was lethargic and foamed at the mouth. (I've been lethargic, but no foaming at the mouth. It could be because I have had less walks then normal.) The company is saying bad reactions happen to a very small number of dogs if applied incorrectly. You are also supposed to separate the dogs who receive drops for 48 hours, although the package does not say to. I don't have fleas so it is not something I have to worry about. Still, be on the lookout for strange reactions if you use this product.
