Whew! We had a close call this morning. Linda took me for our normal walk on the same route we always take. Our neighborhood is quite in the morning since people work. We were just turning into a dead end court when a car pulled up next to us and stopped. The windows were totally blocked out so we could not see inside. The car just drove slow next to us, and the driver did not open the window. They sped up, turned around in the court and then just stopped in the road watching us walk. Linda was scared they were going to try and dog-nap me or even try to get her in the car. She looked to the right and saw a yard with no fence so we made a bee-line through back yards and kept taking short cuts until we got to our house. He did not see what house we went in, so we got home safe. Maybe we should adopt a big guard dog to deter bad people from thinking we are easy prey. (Linda might have had to kill him with her martial arts skills, but people don't know that when they look at us!)
