The Dog Probably Had Good Health Insurance

Weddings always make Linda cry. She doesn't cry when they say the vows, or even when the bride walks down the aisle. Actually, she didn't cry at all during Taylor's wedding to Sarah. She always cries the most when she sees the father of the bride. At one wedding she went to, the father of the bride was a Pastor and preformed the ceremony. She still tears up just thinking about it. Another time the father of the groom was really, really old. It was his sons first wedding. So when Dad walked down the aisle, she lost it. I wonder if she would cry during this village wedding in India that took place June 11th some years back. More than 100 guests attended, and after the ceremony, partied it up at the reception. Unfortunately, the eastern Indian tribal bride was an 9 year old girl. She was forced to marry to ward off an "evil spell" that effected her teeth or something like that. Yikes! Her groom was a stray dog who roamed the village. Double Yikes! "I have no regret in marring the dog and I will take care of him and feed him leftovers" said the girl.
