After classes, Linda met up with a good friend for Sweet Frog before heading home to clean. It seems like a waste to spend the day indoors scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming and dusting, but it has to be done. Back in the olden days when $$ were not budgeted quite as tight, we had Maria come in every Friday to clean our house. She is the best cleaner ever and only charged Linda $60 for our 5 bedroom/3 bathroom house. That's a ridiculously low price for that size home. Once Linda came home while she was cleaning and the sofa and chairs were tipped on their sides. Maria was vacuuming the dust off the bottoms of the furniture! In all the years she has hasn't been cleaning for us, Linda hasn't done that once. Plus, Maria would find so much money stuffed places that a lot of times there would be a pile of change and dollars she would find while she cleaned.
Now it's after 3:30 and Linda has the whole afternoon/evening free. Should she grocery shop, fold laundry, watch Netflix, study her routines, read, nap, mow the lawn, weed... the possibilities are endless. Chim and I love Saturdays best. We get to see Jerry and Linda is usually home for the longest stretch of time all week. Oh, and today our Subway has a buy one get one free deal going on, including the $5 foot-long specials. I think I know what she'll be having for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow!
Since no pictures go with this post, I'll leave you with some oldie but goodies!
