Penelope is officially the best-ever camping baby! She had so much fun and was such a good girl. Sarah said she was happy all day and slept through the night. It was cold in the evening, but the weather was perfect with not a drop of rain. Look at her snug as a bug with Daddy first thing in the morning! Linda missed her so much and made sure to give her some extra hugs last night in the nursery. There were only 4 babies and 3 workers, so everyone had lap time. She is old enough now to enjoy sitting on the floor to play with all the colorful toys.
Speaking of colorful, check out this little cartoon of Chim's brain. He isn't a Dachshund, but all the attributes fit him except the last one. He doesn't chase anything but me. If he's on a walk and sees a cat, squirrel or plastic bag, he hunkers down to the ground or hides behind whoever is walking him. Yesterday PW said he was super friendly and brave, greeting every kid and dog who he met on the walk. Today, it could be the total opposite and he'll be afraid of his shadow.
