Grave Disaster
A lot of families bury their pets in an animal cemetery when the dog or cat passes away. Linda did not do that with any of her pets. After all, when we die, our bodies are just empty shells of skin, bones and fur. But that does not stop many people from spending thousands to bury their beloved dogs. One couple lost their dog Dodo. They tried to save his life by paying $10,000 for a doggie pacemaker. When that did not work, they spent an additional $2,000 to bury their dog. A little while later, the couple moved to another state. When they went back to visit the grave, they found the grave all dug up and Dodo gone! What?! They went to the cemetery office and found out that they never paid the $30 a year upkeep bill that had not been forwarded to their new address. Since they were delinquent, the cemetery crew dug up the grave and burned the remains of the dog. A judge ruled in favor of the cemetery. What a disaster!
